31. DEFINITIONS
In these Rules, unless the contrary intention appears:
'Act' means the Associations Incorporation Act 1985 (SA);
'AGM' means the Annual General Meeting of the Association;
'Council' means the Council of Management;
'Executive' means the four members of the Council who have been elected to and are holding the positions of President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer of the Association;
'Financial Year' means a year commencing 1 July and ending 30 June in the following calendar year;
'General Meeting' means an Annual General Meeting or a General Meeting of Members convened in accordance with rule 9;
'Member' means a member of the Association;
'Ordinary Member of the Council' means a member of the Council who is not a member of the Executive;
'Public Officer' has the same meaning as in the Act;
'Regulations' means regulations under the Act;
'Relevant Documents' has the same meaning as in the Act; and
'Secretary' means:
(a) If a person holds office under these Rules as Secretary of the Association, that person; and
(b) In any other case, the Public Officer of the Association.
